Thank you! I totally make it my hobby to seek out weird stuff, most than some people and less than others, and I'm always happiest when I can bring someone together with new music they might like.

Michael Nesmith is one of the great underappreciated talents of our times!

Yay!! I hope you enjoy even one! Some of the Youtube clips aren't perfect but they get the idea across.

If you ever want another personal Kim playlist, know that I am a champion mix maker and love a challenge.

wow! you went in a direction with your opening that is truly unique. very creative! i tend to stick with mainstream music, more out of what i have labeled "lack of time" than anything else. great to see alternatives. and michael nesmith? great!

There are many songs on your list that I've never heard before. I"m really excited to give them all a listen. It's like I have a personal Kim playlist. Yay!

If I were you I would just go on amazon and get those Black Bonzo tracks pronto and listen to the albums in their entirety. They are so, so good.

In an interesting aside, I never would have heard of them if one of those download blogs hadn't illegally put their stuff up for download - I know it ends up losing them money but I went on to buy all their stuff, I guess I am the exception.

The fact that anyone would listen to any of these tracks makes me happy! So listen to them in whatever order you please. I have this playlist (give or take) on repeat shuffle right now.

Oh also they are coming out with a new album soon - which I can't wait for. Here's what I wrote about them a while back.

That's a great list. I'm looking forward to getting to know a lot of new music here. Black Bonzo (is it wrong of me to start with dessert?) is already getting it's hooks into me.
